Tonight, Aaron & I had the gang over for burgers and homemade french fries! The Pennington Clan missed out on the burgers, but they were able join in on the dancing fun after dinner! Kenleigh & Will had a blast dancing!!! Check out the video :)

2007 Race for the Cure

Mountains....

Today, Aaron & I decided to take a drive to the mountains. We drove the Foothills Parkway, Cades Cove Loop, a primitive road and a portion of the Dragon. We were suprised that we actually saw some color on the trees....we picked the perfect day for a drive, the weather was wonderful!!!

I miss my MOM.....

Two years ago today, I lost one of the most important people in my life...my mom. I can't believe it's been 2 years. Some days it feels like it's been 10 years, other days it feels like it was just yesterday. She was such an inspiration to so many people and I am so proud that I had the opportunity to call her MOM! I don't think I realized the impact she made on people's lives until after she passed away. She was truly a gift from God. I believe God put my mom on this earth to brighten the day of the people she faced each and every day. You never saw my mom without a smile on her face and she never met a stranger. I hope that one day I can be half the woman my mom was. She was AMAZING!!! I miss her so much, but am comforted knowing that she is my guardian angel and in heaven with my dad!!!!! I came across this song and I immediately thought of my mom. I have the song on my computer, but I don't know how to get it on here, so the lyrics will have to do! I hope you enjoy the lyrics as much as I did....it brought tears to my eyes when I heard the song.
