Mr Construction

Carter loves anything construction related, so when we were having our covered deck done...he was one happy boy!  The guys let him take some scrap wood to play with!

First Day of School!

Hard to believe that today is the last first day of preschool for Carter!  He's growing up much too fast -- I need to remember to treasure each day!

Happy Birthday to Sweet Caroline!!

I can't believe my baby is TWO!!  Where has the time gone?  We are so blessed to have such a sweet little girl in our family -- life would be so boring without her!  She brings so much love, joy & laughter each and every day with her feisty little personality!

Here's what Caroline is up to at 2:

• talks all the time and in sentences, too -- I love it when she says "I can not do (whatever it is I am asking her)"  "Let Caroliney do it"  "We are going to____"
• can say the ABC's with help
• can count to 4 and then skips to 10
• is learning her colors, but most of the time everything is green
• loves to play and cook at her little kitchen

• calls me Honey Bee :)
• loves to pick out her clothes and will open her drawer and pick out shorts & a t-shirts -- she says "I need shorts"  Little stinker!
• loves Carter and plays nicely with him 99% of the time

• is good at working puzzles 
• loves to be held -- I hear "hold me Mommy" or "I need you Mommy" a hundred times a day :)
• loves band-aids -- "I need a band-aid, really hurts - make it feel better"
• loves to look at books & has several memorized

• just like Carter, she loves to play outside
• is Miss Independent!  "I do it myself"  "don't help me"  "Caroliney do it"
• is a little bit of a tomboy sometimes:)

• also a girly girl who likes to carry her purse and talk on the phone!
• isn't the best eater -- she's pretty picky, except when it comes to sweets!
• she's a daredevil, too!  

We love you Miss Caroline and can't wait to see what year 2 has in store for you!!
