Memorial Day!

We had a fun Memorial Day!  We had everyone over for a cookout and lots of fun playing outside!  It's nice to get all the cousins together!

Yard Work!

Aaron was off last week, so we did lots of working in the yard and having fun outside!  Carter is my big helper!  He can pick weeds better than anyone I know :) I LOVE that he enjoys helping me in the yard!

Last Day of "School"

Last Tuesday would have been Carter's last day in the monkey's class at preschool...if he had stayed in school, that is!  Thought it would be fun to see how much he grew from August to May :)

Zoo Day

We headed to the zoo on Thursday and had a great time!  Carter asked if he could get in the cages with the bears, otters and turtles....I think not, Carter :)

my mom - I miss her so very much! I am so thankful that God chose me to be her daughter.  I hope that I am half the mom to Carter & Caroline that she was to me!  There was never a doubt that she loved me!!

So happy that Kim hung onto some of Kenleigh's clothes because now Caroline gets to wear them :)  The only difference is .... Kenleigh wore these when she was 2 & 3 months old!

9 Months!

Wow!  Seems like I just did Caroline's 8 month post...how can it be time for 9 months already!?!  I wish I could slow time a little.  Caroline is at such a fun age right now and continues to be a great baby!  We love our Carolinyloo!

Here's what she is up to this month!

• still is a good sleeper, although, occasionally she will decide that she wants to see her Mommy & Daddy and wake up in the middle of the night :)
• started army crawling, but now its more like an inchworm crawl - she is getting really fast and loves to crawl to anything that belongs to Carter!  
• she will get up onto all 4's, but doesn't go anywhere

• can pull up to her knees and is really close to being able to pull up to standing by herself!
• SO HAPPY!

• tried Puffs and doesn't love them!

"Hey, these aren't so bad!"

"OK, so I was wrong....these things you call puffs make me gag!!!"

• likes to scream at Carter!  
• still only has 2 teeth and no sign of any top teeth
• enjoyed her 1st trip to the mountains (4/10) and to the park (4/9)!

• takes a bath with Carter and loves to splash!!!!
• very chatty 
• loves to play with balls
• likes to roll her tongue 

She's a busy girl!!!
