Finally....
Our poor dogs have lost their home twice now...first we moved them out of the office into the guest bedroom to start on the nursery, then we moved them out of the guest bedroom so our guests wouldn't have to sleep with dogs and moved them into the laundry room. They haven't been very happy, especially Lilly b/c not only did we move them from the guest room, we only moved their bed, not the kennel. Lilly has had her kennel since the day I got her. It's been her safe haven and then Lexie decided that she loved it, too! I guess this morning they decided that laying on their bed in the laundry room wasn't so bad afterall. I'm glad Aaron got a picture b/c they look so cute :) Hopefully this will continue......little do they know that their lives are going to change once again when a baby invades their home! We still love you Lilly & Lexie :)

20 days...
Wow --- it's hard to believe that the pregnancy ticker shows we have 20 days until our due date!!! I just wonder if we will make it that long. This little guy appears to be heading south :) We had an ultrasound last Thursday and it was so nice to see his sweet little face. His head is measuring right on track, but his tummy was already at 38 weeks...guess this means he is going to be chunky or maybe I fed him too many chocolate chip cookies! I head back to the doctor on Thursday and hope they he will be able to give me a weight estimate.
Aaron & I did some spring cleaning yesterday and put the carseat base in the car. We are ready for his arrival, except...I need to pack our bags! I just keep thinking that I have plenty of time, but you never know!
We are so excited and can't wait to meet him :)

Cake Decorating Class....
My neighbor decided that she wanted to take a cake decorating class and she thought I needed to do the same, so I gave in and decided that I would take it with her. What was I thinking!?!? The class was on Monday nights for 4 weeks -- it was in the middle of tax season and I was 32 weeks pregnant at the time! I went to the first class and thought there is no way I am taking this class, but then my neighbor was so excited...I couldn't let her down! So, after buying all my supplies (which cost a small fortune!), making 3 cakes, making icing that I didn't even like, leaving 2 classes with undecorated cakes b/c the teacher talked too much, throwing 3 cakes away b/c I didn't like the icing, laughing uncontrollably with Judy as we attempted roses & made icing...I "graduated" from Wilton Cake Course I. Judy & I definitely didn't have the best looking cakes, nor were we the cake pros that some of the people turned into, but we did have lots of fun and I guess that's all that matters! I am looking forward to making a cake with my own buttercream icing and not the playdoh smelling icing that our teacher made us make for our cakes!
