Merry Christmas!!!!

Carter had a wonderful 1st Christmas!!  We started the fun out Christmas Eve at church and then we hung out at our house.  Carter was excited to see what Santa brought him on Christmas morning and Nonnie & Papa were able to join in fun!!  He had the most fun with the wrapping paper and really got the hang of tearing the paper.  We had round 2 with cousins, aunts & uncles and then round 3 at Nonnie & Papa's house!  It was a fun filled day with family.  Here are lots of pictures!!!!

Mommy has put a different pair of Christmas jammies on me each night, so I can be ready for Santa!!!  Only 2 more days and then I can dig into all my presents!!!

Ice, Ice, Baby....

We woke up this morning to lots of ice!!  It makes everything look so pretty! 

SNOW DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Carter & I ventured out into the COLD for a few quick pictures of his 1st snow!  I bundled him up in lots and lots of layers!  He looked like a little oompa loompa :)   He was a little unsure, but we still had fun!  

Much happier to be inside :)  

Peek-a-boo!

Carter & I like to play peek-a-boo when he wakes up from his naps :)  He is so quick to find me...just pushes down on the bumpers and there I am!

8 months!!!

It seems like it was just yesterday that I was doing Carter's 7 month post...my how times flies by!!  Carter is such a joy and is so much fun!!!!  I love watching him learn new things everyday!!!

not the best picture, but he was so active during our little photo shoot, this was the best I could get...he isn't looking at the camera because I was having to hold a toy to get his attention away from the 8 month sign...silly Carter!

Here's what Carter has been up to this month:

• can army crawl!!  He is on the move and busy, busy!!
• now has 4 teeth -- the 2 bottom teeth are all the way in and the top 2 are just about to pop all the way out
• tries to go from laying on the floor to sitting position
• is still a great sleeper at night -- normally down by 8:00 or 8:30 and up at 7:15 or 7:30.  He wakes up in the best moods

• enjoyed his 1st Thanksgiving with all his cousins -- he even let everyone know he could keep up with the noise by screaming a few times!
• stills loves his cereal in the mornings and before bed
• loves his baby food -- he now likes just about any veggie or fruit

• gets upset when you take something that he is interested in away...showing a little bit of a temper!
• LOVES the vacuum!!!! 
• sat in the buggy like a big boy at Target!

• loves bathtime and playing with his bath toys!  
• loves going outside -- we are going to have to bundle up this winter so we can enjoy some outside time!
• likes to dance with mommy and listen to music on the radio
• can stand by himself for short periods of time

• waves bye-bye and plays patty-cake
• still says Mama, but we are working on Dada!!!!

Carter is such a joy to be around -- he makes me so happy :)  I can't believe that in 4 quick months, we will have a 1 year old running around.  I wish we could freeze time for a little while because he is so much fun right now!!  I love his little personality that he is developing!
