Dollywood!!!

We decided to take a lastminute trip to Dollywood last Friday!  It was so much fun and well worth the money to see such big smiles on Carter & Caroline's faces :)  Carter rode his first roller coaster and LOVED it ~ loved it so much that he rode it 3 times!

1st Day!

Last Thursday this little girl had her 1st day of preschool!!  She was so excited it was her turn for school :)

she loves her brother!

and while Miss Priss was at school, I had a bowling date with this handsome boy!!  We had such a fun time and I really enjoyed the one on one time with Carter.

Kindergarten!!!

The time is here.....hip, hip hooray!!  :) 

We had one excited boy yesterday morning!  He was awake at 6:44 and ready to GO to his 1st day of kindergarten.  

Pool Party :)

Yesterday, we celebrated Caroline at the pool with all the cousins!  Such a fun day!!

Caroline, you are the gift that keeps on giving.  I can't imagine walking through life without you in it.  You make the world bright and full of love.  I love your spunky, sassy attitude :)

 I can hardly believe that this precious girl is THREE!!!!

Here's what Miss C is up to:

• dainty little thing at a whopping 28 pounds :)
• knows the ABC's and can recognize most letters
• shows little interest in writing her name ~~  she will write a C and maybe an A and then say, I don't know how!  I have struggled with this because Carter was so eager to learn!!  But, at least she can spell her name!
• knows all her shapes & colors
• has a wonderful imagination -- it's cute to hear her role play with her toys
• loves just about anything that Carter loves :)  They are good buddies

• is 95 % potty trained!  :)  
• gave up naps a long time ago!  She handles it well and is ready for bed whenever we say bedtime!
• LOVES her Yaya

• would eat 24/7 ~  she will get up from a meal and not 5 minutes she is hungry and needs a 'nack
• still wants Mama to hold her, especially in the afternoon when she is tired  "Mama, will you hold me?"  LOVE :)
• has good manners
• LOVES helping me cook -expecially brownies and tearing the lettuce for salad.  She helped make a salad the other night and I said the salad tasted extra good because she helped & Carter said, no it was extra extra extra good :)

• loves to sing 
• she loves her baby dolls

• loves to paint, color & cut ~ we are very much into art projects at this house!

• loves going to the pool!  She can now stand on her tippy toes by the stairs in 3 feet and thinks that it is a pretty cool trick!
• loves band-aids!  Everything needs one, even if there isn't a boo boo :)
• if she doesn't want to do something, she always says "I can't, I'm tired"

Some cute things that she has said:

• I have a practice at 11 o 30
• she likes to say Oh, piggles
• I said Good Morning, Sunshine to her one morning when I got her up and she said "Hey, I'm not Sunshine, I Caroline"
• There's a manlady :)  when passing a mailman who was a female
• I'm going to throw your eyeballs away
• I asked Caroline to put her silly putty away so that it wouldn't dry out and she said "It won't dry out, it will dry in"
• It's going to be clean as pie
• You are my favorite Mama :)
• Mommy, I don't like you.  You don't like me?  No, I love you :)
