The beginning of a busy weekend....

Last night, we held the 1st Annual Christy's Angels fundraiser dinner to raise money for our race for the cure team. We had a great time and hope that each year it gets bigger & bigger! The best part of the whole thing was our family that came in from Texas & Florida -- it made it so special to have them be a part of a fun night!!

A few firsts

Carter enjoyed his first trip to Long's on Saturday! It was the perfect day to go because there weren't many people there and the service was fast!

Carter also went to church for the first time on Sunday. He was perfect -- he was awake for the music, got a little fussy and slept for the entire sermon! We couldn't have asked for anything better.

Carter also enjoyed a little time in the bumbo :) He does a great job holding his head up and I think he likes the new view!

Happy 4th of July!!!!!!

We had everyone over to our house for a July 4th/Kim birthday/Alex birthday cookout! We had a blast and the kiddos were fantastic. After dinner, we were hanging out in the front yard and I had to get a picture of the cousins looking good in their red, white and blue!!!

Carter LOVES to talk to himself in his mirror and I finally got it on video yesterday!

3 months!!!

Here are some 3 month facts:

• weighs 14.6 lbs - 71% and is 24 in. long - 50%
• wears 3-6 month clothing
• is a great sleeper at night -- sleeps from around 10:00 to between 6:00-7:00!!!
• isn't a great napper, but that's ok!
• giggled out loud for the first time last week
• smiles and coos all the time --- such a happy baby!
• loves bath time
• learned to grasp his toys
• loves for his mommy to sing the Itsy Bitsy Spider
• is close to rolling over
• doesn't love tummy time, but can lift his head up high when he wants to
• loves to be outside
• loves to look and talk to himself in his mirror
• suck on his hands and sticks his tongue out all the time!

We LOVE you Carter...Carty cart...bug a boo...love muffin!!!!!!
