Happy Birthday, ALEX!!!

ALEX JAMES is here!!!!!!! He made his grand entrance tonight at 6:36 pm. He weighed 8lb 5oz and was 21 inches long. Jamie did great!!!! I am so proud of her!! There will be many more pictures later, but here are a few!

Bye bye, big ugly window....hello, small pretty window!!!

I have disliked the big window for as long as I can remember, so last weekend, we got rid of the big window and had a smaller, much more energy efficient window installed. I think it really modernized the house! We are the talk of the street! All our neighbors have commented on how great it looks. We are very pleased with the way it turned out. I had a vision, but was a little nervous at first! Now, we just need to put new trim on the inside and hang drapes. Someday, we will be done with all of our projects....I hope! :)

The Making of a New Shed.....

Aaron suggested buying a shed to put our yard stuff in. He was talking to our neighbor about buying one and he said..don't buy one, we can build one! So, sure enough...we are building one!! Aaron & our neighbor started a couple of weeks ago and still have a lot of work to do. It's hard to get much done when Aaron is in school full time and works full time, plus having to coordinate working times with our neighbor. I am very impressed at how far along they are! They have only worked on it 5 days for at most about 4 hours a day. Here are some pictures of the progess.....they are working on it tomorrow, so hopefully there will be a roof on it!!!

Memorial Day Cookout

Here are a few pictures from our Memorial Day cookout/Colton's birthday party. I wish I would have taken more pictures, but I got busy. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our friends & family. Bill & Aaron did a great job grilling burgers & hot dogs on our new grill!
