This is what I found when I went to check on Carter last night.  Look at his sweet hands....

My new ride!

Well, it's new to Carter at least!  This boat has been used by many!  It was given to my mom for Colton from a little boy that I babysat for (who happens to be almost 18!!!) and we just keep passing it down!  Carter loves it.  

I like to stand up and drive!

No, no, no!?!?

No, no seems to be a constant phase in our vocabulary these days and Carter seems to think that it's funny when I say it, not so much when Aaron says it.  When I tell him "no, no" he usually turns around and laughs at me!  He thinks it's funny.  I know I am not being stern enough, but it's hard to be stern to him when he is smiling and laughing at me!!!  He is such a mess!! Here are some of his favorite things to mess with...

Special delivery....

Double digits!!!

Seriously, how fast can time go?!!?  I can't believe my baby boy is 10 months old.  Carter is the most pleasant little guy to be around and he makes me happier than I ever thought I could be!!!

Here's what Carter has been up to this month:

• he is a wild man, but we love it!
• no more army crawling -- he is up on all 4's and is FAST!!!!  He can go from the den all the way to the guest room in a matter of seconds and laughs the whole way there!
• says "Hi" to his stuffed animals and "Hi" to the pictures in the picture frames :)
• tries to climb the bar stools!!!  
• started scrunching up his nose 

• cruises around the coffee table
• stands for a few seconds without holding onto anything
• tried some big boy food -- rotini noodles, banana, broccoli and spaghetti noodles!  He still loves his puffs the best.
• says Mama, Dada (finally!) Hi, bye bye, Papa 
• CLAPS!  It is the cutest thing to see :)  

• sways back and forth when I sing him songs
• dances when he hears music!
• makes a funny face when he sees things he likes - sticks his bottom jaw out and makes a noise

• has 8 teeth and knows how to use them...his teeth are sharp!
• does not like the word NO!  
• smacks his lips
• bangs on the wall before he goes to sleep and when he wakes up -- it's cute hearing the little pat pat on the wall
• LOVES telephones and remote controls
