Race for the Cure!!!

We walked the 13th annual Race for the Cure on Saturday. I am proud to say that I have never missed a race! We had a great team turnout this year -- 31 people signed up and a few extra joined us on race day! Our biggest team! I am proud that we can honor mom in such a special way. I know she would be so proud of us for continuing something that was so near & dear to her heart!! GO CHRISTY'S ANGELS!!!

Lilly has something to say...

Lilly is excited (even though she doesn't look excited in the picture) that she will be a big sister!! It's true, Aaron & I are expecting! I am 16 1/2 weeks and 3 weeks from today, we will find out whether we will need to buy blue or pink! We look forward to meeting our little jellybean sometime around April 4th, which just happens to be Easter!!

Last beach trip of the year!

Aaron & I just got back from a quick weekend getaway to the beach. We were very fortunate with the weather, it was a little cool on Saturday, but we still ventured out to the beach and made a day of it! We didn't take many pictures because we were there to relax and spend time with one another. It was a wonderful trip, except for the trip home when we got stuck in traffic. It took us an hour and 15 mins to go 3 miles! It was miserable, but at least we made it home safely!! I am already looking forward to our next beach trip...just not sure when it will be :-)

Not a great picture, but it's the only one we had of the 2 of us! It was cold on our last night...good thing we brought our jackets!

Beautiful sunset

Beach fun in Siesta Key

Jamie & I loaded up the boys and drove to Siesta Key. We had a great time and the weather was fantastic, just a little hot for the end of September! We enjoyed low key dinners in the condo, ate ice cream at Big Olaf's (the best ice cream ever!), watched the sunset, played on the beach and did lots of swimming. It was hard to leave the beach and come home to cooler weather.

Alex enjoying the sand :) He wasn't very fond of the sand for the first few days, but he did get better!

Will was too busy to pose for a picture!

I wish my camera would have been able to capture the beauty of this sunset. It was the prettiest sunset I have ever seen...you could see the sun rays and it had the most beautiful shades orange & yellow.

Pure beauty...what a wonderful view
