Giraffe Jammies

I thought Caroline looked so sweet after her bath one night, so I grabbed the camera and took a few pictures of her in her giraffe jammies :)

I was looking through a photo album of Carter and came across this picture of him in his exersaucer and realized that I had taken a picture of Caroline in the exersaucer.....in the same jammies with almost the exact same expression!!!  CRAZY!

Caroline's Baptism

We had Caroline baptized on Sunday - it was a beautiful service and Caroline did fantastic!  I was a little worried when we woke up to snow falling, but the roads were fine and we headed to church!  After the service, we went to Mamie & Uncle Bill's for brunch.

Carter & I have been enjoying the SUNNY weather the past 2 days. I got my camera out yesterday and took some pictures of him.  He's growing up right before my eyes and I want to make sure I capture little moments of my almost 3 year old!  :)

Slobber Bird

6 months!!!

OH MY!!  6 months...1/2 way to a year old!!  How can that be?!?!  We love you sweet Caroline and are so happy that God chose us to be your mom & dad!!  You have brightened our lives and filled our hearts with so much joy!

This was a month of a lot of firsts!  Here's what Caroline has been up to:

• Weight:  15 lbs - 25%     Height:  25 inches - 25%     Head:  17 - 75%
• stretched her feedings out to every 4 hours during the day and has cereal at night and breakfast
• is a good sleeper, but still prefers to be a night owl!  I think she must like the one on one time with us after Carter goes to bed!  Lately she has decided she likes to wake up not long after she gets in her bed.  I think her Daddy has spoiled her by allowing her to sleep in his arms!!  :)
• takes a morning nap (10:30-12:30) and afternoon nap (2:30-4:00) and sometimes a catnap in the evenings
• first bite of cereal (1/17)

• like to blow raspberries while she eats her cereal!  Sometimes, I need to be the one wearing a bib :)
• very inquisitive
• VERY happy baby!
• can sit all by herself for short periods of time

 

•  can stand holding onto something (1/20)

• sat in the jumper for the first time! (1/30)

• makes new sounds -- sometimes she sounds like a panting dog when she gets excited!
• loves to squeal!
• sat in the Bumbo for the first time! (1/12)

• loves to pull mommy's hair!!
• rolls over and sleeps on her tummy at bedtime & naptime

• sat in the exersaucer for the first time (1/9)

• likes to reach for our glasses and pull them off
• really started rolling around the floor.  If she sees something she wants...she will do her best to roll and scoot to get it
• loves to find the tag on her toys and suck on it
