Playground Fun

The weather was beautiful over the weekend, so we took full advantage of it and played outside all weekend!  Carter has been asking to go to the playground at his school, so we loaded up on Sunday and had a great time!

Snow Fun!!!

We woke up to such a beautiful site this morning!  We had 5.5 inches of snow and that's a lot for this area!  Carter was so excited :)  

 After lunch, we loaded up and went to Kay Kay & Papaw's for some sledding!  It was a blast!  Carter loved every minute of it!!!

C&C @ 18 months!

18 months!

OH MY HEAVENS.....18 months...1 1/2 years old!!!  Where oh where has my little bitty baby gone?!?!  I can't believe that Caroline is 18 months old -- time flies by.  It feels like just yesterday, we were bringing her home from the hospital.  I love this age, but she is quickly becoming a big girl and not a baby.  She is such a sweet, sweet girl.  We love her so very much!!

Here's what Miss Caroline has been up to the past few months:

• has become quite the talker -- she says a ton of words and will repeat just about anything you ask her
• says many phrases -- Car Car doing? Get it, Right back, another one, don't know, this one, one more, hold it, get it
• says a few (almost) sentences -- uh-oh drop milk ~~ apple, eat it, yum ~~ cracker, another one ~~ gobble, eat it ~~ doodle, change it
• her f's are d's so she says doughn for phone, dunny for funny, dun for fun
• says hold de when she wants someone to pick her up -- I hear it and see these sweet arms like this many, many, many times a day!  I wouldn't trade it for the world.  I'll hold de anytime, Caroline!

• calls her lovey, yaya and she loves her yaya -- she sucks on it at night and it's so cute to watch her find the perfect spot
• still only has 8 teeth!  Her 1 year molars are finally starting to pop through -- Carter had 16 teeth at 18 months!!!
• loves for me to sing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star and she will sing it "twinkle, twinkle, twinkle, twinkle, twinkle up bove".  Asks me to sing Bible for Jesus Loves Me
• loves her bow and will say "pretty" but she won't keep it in long!

• loves bath time, but hates to have her hair rinsed.  She recently started taking showers, too!
• loves to clean -- always wants a paper towel or napkin, so she can clean her tray
• is a CLIMBER!  She will climb on just about anything her little legs will let her climb on

• 
  
• loves to help me with the laundry and emptying the dishwasher -- she loves to climb on that, too!

• loves shoes, socks, purses and glasses -- she is definitely a girl!

• loves for me to chase her down the hall & loves to play ring around the rosie
• she is a picky eater -- but will eat just about anything as long as I will let her dip it in something, especially kah kah (ketchup)  
• loves pizza and calls it pe te
• loves to read books
• loves her baby!  She will say "okay?" and every time, I'll have to say..is your baby okay?  and he answer is..yeah!  She wants you to pat the baby's back, too

• has the word MINE down pat!  Think she might have learned that word from Carter  :)  
• will say "Mine...time out!"  when she is mad at Carter
• is a biter & a hitter, but so sweet and it's hard to punish her when she does this!!!
• she will say Happy?  and I'll say Caroline, are you happy?  and she says yeah :)
• makes some funny faces!

• can point to and name most of her body parts
• knows what most animals say, too
• says 2 when she has 2 things in her hand
• tries to sound out letters like Carter does ~~  she'll say e, e, ,e ... D!  Close :)
• can say all our family members names -- she LOVES Uncle Andy and asks about it several times a day :) If she sees a maroon colored car, she says Andy?
