Christmas Eve

After church, we had a nice dinner at Cherokee -- everyone did great!  The Pennington's met us there, but I don't have any pictures of them :(

Christmas..part 1

We celebrated with Aaron's family the Sunday before Christmas -- we had a great time!

 Carter helped Papa mash the potatoes!  I love that he likes to help in the kitchen!

  We were the only ones left at the table..Caroline was hungry!

Snow Day!

Carter & Caroline enjoyed our little snow day before Thanksgiving!  I think Carter would play in the snow all day, if I would let him!  

Blessed....

Feeling so blessed right now...I love these 2 kids more than anything in this world and I am beyond thankful for them.  God works in mysterious ways and I am so thankful that our guardian angels were watching over Caroline & I on Tuesday.  Sure puts life into perspective when you are faced with all the what if's.  Tuesday was one of the scariest days of my life -- amazing how quickly your life can be turned upside down in the blink of an eye.

Impromptu Navtivity

Carter had his Impromptu Nativity program at school on Tuesday -- it was was really sweet watching all the kids perform.  Carter wasn't really into performing...he was more interested in looking around, but he did sing a little :)

A visit with Santa

We went to see Santa on Sunday -- Carter was so excited and Caroline was a little unsure.  Carter told Santa what he wanted and then told him that Caroline would like a bulldozer :)
