Single digits....

Wow! It's hard to believe that we are now in the single digits for weeks left in this pregnancy!!! It seeemed like 31 weeks was so far away when we found out way back in July that we were expecting! I went to the doctor on Friday and everything is going great and I am measuring right on track. He doesn't like for the nurse to listen to his heartbeat b/c everytime they try, he moves around and kicks and each time the nurse makes a comment :)

I think Kenleigh is ready for her new cousin to arrive because tonight at dinner she came up to me and said in a serious and sweet little voice "Uh, Lulie...has your baby come yet? " I said "no, Kenleigh, but I will let you know as soon as he does" 3 year old have great little minds :)

The nursery is nearing completion!! The crib is up, we bought the mattress today and we put new closet organizers in yesterday. Now, we just need our rocker to come in and we will be all set with furniture! I am finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel.

The start of the nursery....

We have finally started on the nursery. We bought our bedding the night we found out we were having a boy, so that was taken care of a long time ago. Our crib and changing table have been purchased and they are sitting at Aaron's parents just waiting to come to their home : ) We have been struggling with paint colors. I had decided on blue walls, but we had the hardest time finding the right shade of blue. After several trips to the paint store, we finally found 2 blues and a green. The blues matched, but so did the green :) We went back and forth and decided that green was the color. Now, Aaron just needs to work on some trim around the windows, do shoemold and crown molding and the painting can begin!!! I am more than ready to get the nursery done!!!!


Check out our wall of colors!! It took quite a few samples, but it will be worth it in the end!
