The Three Amigos!

OH HAIL

This is what our deck, yard and driveway looked like after round one of the hail storm we had tonight!  So not fun!!!!!  Carter and I went into the bathtub twice...he was good, I not so much!  I was so happy that Aaron was here with us....

so much for my pot that I just planted Sunday!  Hope my flowers survive!

Happy Easter!!

What a beautiful day to celebrate Easter!  Carter enjoyed his "first" Easter.  Last year he was only 3 days old, so it didn't really count!  

the Easter Bunny left Carter lots of goodies!

Busy beaver....

It's no wonder I can't get a single thing done when Carter is awake.  This is what we did in less than 30 minutes this morning.....

did a little lawn mowing

 played with the ball

 took a boat ride

 played with the dump truck

 then it was time to hit the road...

 he was done before we got out of the driveway :)

 time for peek-a-boo & chase in the kitchen

 decided he needed to stop and get in the cabinets

back to the den to play with blocks 

 in and out of the car again

 more peek-a-boo & chase

 time to play with his balloon!

 back to the kitchen to get in the drawer!

and there you have it....that is what 30 minutes of our day looks like :)  Too bad I didn't capture him crawling under the table, drumming on the chairs, banging on the oven & then the air register, opening a box, playing with the scale....he is a busy boy, but I wouldn't trade him for the world!

The Zoo and other fun...

We took Carter for his 1st zoo adventure on Thursday.  He enjoyed looking at the animals, but I think his favorite part of the zoo was seeing the fans in the elephant building :)  He also went on his first carousel ride!  He & I just sat on  one of the benches, so next time, we will sit on an animal!

Today, we put Carter in his little baby pool.....he wasn't sure what to think at first, but then he decided he liked it and started splashing and picking grass!

His outfit says it all......

We had Carter's pictures taken at the botanical gardens last week and our photographer was running a few minutes behind, so we decided to snap a few pictures before we let the professional take over :)

We also stopped by the UT Gardens to check out the tulips...they were so pretty
