Thursday fun with Will & Kenleigh

Kenleigh, Will, Alex and Jamie came over to play today. We had such a fun time and had fun activities! Kenleigh helped me make the pudding...she thought the vanilla tasted good :)

First, we started off our fun day by painting with pudding! Kenleigh & Will had so much fun and they were so intense at first.

Then, we headed to the sprinkler for more fun!! Will wanted me to run through too, so I did! They ran in circles and laughed a lot!!!

Then Kenleigh & Will decided that they want to paint with water, so I filled up Will's bucket and they went to town painting the porch & the bricks.

Alex even had some fun :) He sat in his bouncy seat while we painted. He cooed and smiled a lot!

It was a great day!!! Thanks for coming over to play!!! Today was what being an aunt is all about :)

Cake Topper :)

Aaron & I were finally able to eat our cake topper. We were lucky that we didn't have to eat a topper that had been in the freezer for a year...our cake lady made us a fresh topper. It was just as good as it was on our wedding day (not that I remember it all that well!) Still can't believe that a year has passed by already......

Fun on the ramp

Jamie, Will & Alex came over last night for dinner. Will couldn't wait for E to get home, so he could make a ramp. Will is a huge fan of ramps and had fun running up & down, up & down. I don't know what Will is going to do when the door is hung, guess we will have to keep the door open and hang on to a piece of plywood for the ramp :)

I got shot....

by a pellet gun. Aaron & I were on our way to get gas, enjoying the weather with the windows rolled down and out of the blue something hits my elbow. We thought it was a bug....had to be a big bug because it hurt like you know what! When we got to the gas station, Aaron looked in the backseat and found a little white pellet. So, now I have a nice welt on my elbow from some little brat playing with a pellet gun!! What are the odds that it would fly through the window, go between Aaron & the steering wheel and hit my elbow that was resting on the arm rest. We are just lucky that it didn't hit Aaron in the eye...it could of caused an accident. Crazyiness!!! Watch out for pellet guns!!!!

Hilton Head

Aaron & I had a wonderful, relaxing time in Hilton Head. Aaron's parents joined us for 2 nights and then we had 2 nights just for us. We celebrated our 1st Anniversary on Monday with a fabulous dinner at Crane's Tavern....we had wonderful filets :) It was a great trip and we were lucky to have pretty weather, except for rain Tuesday afternoon. That afternoon we decided to head to Savannah for a few hours.....the rain had stopped for a little bit, but once we got there..it started pouring, which made for a difficult time touring the city, but it was fun anyway!

Yummy ice cream at Marley's

Rainy Savannah :(

Finally.....

there is some progress to the shed!!!! We had to get someone else to help us and they are moving right along now :) We just lack the shingles and the door and then we can build our shelves on the inside and landscape on the outside.
